How are we going to accomplish our goals?
The CPU uses social media to publicly state our goals and ask Call of Duty and Activision to acknowledge our requests. We just want open conversation about how we can align the company’s goals and our goals to improve the in-game experience for the majority.
The CPU uses social media to expose and explain the issues we have with the game and publicly advocate for change, drawing attention and swaying public opinion. CPU members can also do this on their own as they see fit. The more members we have, the more effective this tactic is.
The CPU uses union-based tactics to get the company’s attention (the more members we have, the more effective these tactics are):
Player strikes: The CPU publicly states that our members will not play Call of Duty games for a length of time until the company responds to our requests for open discussions.
Buyer strikes: The CPU publicly states that our members will not purchase anything in a Call of Duty game for a length of time until the company responds to our requests for open discussions.
Content strikes: Union members will only watch streams and videos of other Union Members while on this strike. The purpose is to get the attention of prominent streamers and content creators and convince them to ask Activision to listen to us.
